Baby Bootcamp
Kindergarten for young horses! Introduce fundamental life skills, develop correct patterns of behaviour, manners and habits by signing your weanling or yearling up for this program. Work progressively towards a positive horse-human relationship, and create a safe and willing partner for your future riding needs. This service is offered on-site, and the cost includes monthly board fees.

Young/Green Horse Training
Let's get started with the basics of becoming a safe riding horse! In the young/green horse training program, horses will be expected to learn both unmounted and mounted skills, and will receive a customized training plan based on the client's desired riding discipline. All training programs involve a compassionate horsemanship approach, in order to create a willing and responsive partner. This service is offered on-site, and includes the cost of board each month.

Horse Rehabilitation and Behaviour Training
If your horse needs help with a specific physical or behavioral issue, Horse Behavior Training with B. Fex Horsemanship & Equitation may be a great option for you. Horsemanship techniques are used to address behavioural issues or trauma gently and compassionately rather than resorting to harsh or inhumane practices. Each horse has their own needs and personality, so personalized plans are created to fit your equine’s specific rehabilitation needs. This service can be offered on or off-site.

Groundwork Training
Horsemanship training begins with basic groundwork exercises to develop a supple, strong and responsive horse. Horsemanship lies at the foundation of all equestrian pursuits. This approach promotes the horse's physical and emotional wellbeing, encouraging the horse to willingly participate in training and work with their human partner. This service can be offered on or off-site.

Trailer Training
Let's face it, your horse will probably find itself on a trailer at some point in its life. Whether it's a move to a new stable, a trip to a show, or an unexpected ride to the vet, teaching your horse to load, unload and travel safely on a trailer is a MUST. In this program, horses and their handlers learn to safely load/unload their horses with a partner, or when alone, and horses learn to load safely with a leader, how to self load onto a trailer, and how to stand quietly on a trailer when in transit and when stationary.

B. Fex Horsemanship & Equitation Offers specialized training programs customized to the owners wants/needs. Specialized training services include: dressage training, working equitation training, para horse training, western dressage training, western pleasure training and English pleasure training.
